Instructions for Presenters of the ICAME Conference   Download

1) The ICAME conference is highly interdisciplinary. Most of the sessions (except on Monday afternoon) are plenary sessions. Please dedicate the first minutes of your talk to a basic introduction that is understandable for colleagues who are not directly working in your field.

2) The duration of the lectures: 

Tutorial lectures are 50 minutes, including laptop setup and 5 minutes questions time. Keynote lectures are 40 minutes, including laptop setup and 5 minutes questions time. Invited lectures are 30 minutes, including laptop setup and 5 minutes questions time. IBAME award lectures are 35 minutes, including laptop setup, 5 minutes landation (by session chair) and 5 minutes questions time. Contributed plenary and parallel lectures are 20 minutes, including laptop setup and 5 minutes questions time.

3) The tutorial lectures take place in 1st floor Conference Room, Energy Fundamentals (Building B). Plenary sessions of ICAME2019 take place in Conference Hall, DICP Conference Center (Building A), Parallel sessions take place in Conference Hall, DICP Conference Center (Building A) and 1st floor Meeting Room, Energy Building (Building E).

4) The lecture halls will have LCD projectors and laptop computer that run under Windows 7. After registration you are asked to submit your presentation ppt files to the organizing committee. Alternately, you may also submit the copy of your presentation ppt files to the conference laptop computer at least 30 minutes ahead of the session begins. In any case, please make sure that your ppt files run properly on the respective laptop computer.

5) Poster presentations are organized in two sessions, both located in Assembly Hall (Chemical Engineering Building, Building D).

• Poster Session 1: Tuesday, 03 September 2019 (14:10 - 16:30), odd numbers

• Poster Session 2: Thursday, 05 September 2019 (14:10 - 16:30), even numbers

• All posters should be designed according to the following requirements: Maximum size A0 (841 mm wide and 1189 mm in height) and orientation Portrait

6) All posters will be on display throughout the conference. The posters are labeled with an identier for the conference topic (T01-T08) to which the poster belongs, followed by a number. Posters with odd numbers shall be presented during the Tuesday poster session, posters with even numbers shall be presented during the Thursday poster session. 

7) You are also asked to submit your poster to the organizing committee after the registration. The organizing committee will assist you in the Hall, two-sided scotch will be provided. Posters should be removed by the presenters after Poster session on 05 September. No removed posters will be removed by the organizers, and keep at the ICAME2019 Help desk, where you can pick them up.
